Alexandria Community Rowing, Alexandria Crew Boosters, and West Potomac Crew are hosting a National Learn to Row Day event on Saturday, June 7, 2014. Stop by the Dee Campbell Boathouse anytime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to tour the facility, learn the basics of the rowing stroke on the erg, and head out on the water.
Wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.
All participants must sign a waiver, available at check-in. A parent’s signature is required for participants under 18 years of age.
The event will take place rain or shine.
No need to register – just show up!

If you cox for an ACR sweep program a minimum of three practices a week on a routine basis, you only need to pay the $50 annual crew booster fee and you will get FREE membership privileges, a $290 value. It’s a great deal! If you’re interested contact Programs Dockmaster
Coaches are needed for early morning and evening programs from April through October. Pay and benefits are commensurate with experience and level of commitment to coaching at ACR. Benefits range/vary from free club membership, use of club boats and gym facility during program hours, to payment of expenses for coaching education and travel to regattas. If you have experience coaching and are interested, inquire by contacting the Programs Dockmaster
